Shipping Policy

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or Egyptian public holidays will be processed on the next working day. You will receive an email confirmation with your order details once your purchase is complete.

Delivery Within Egypt

We deliver to all Egyptian governorates through our trusted courier partners. Orders are delivered within an average of 3–5 business days across Egypt.


Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to high-demand periods, weather conditions, or courier delays beyond our control.
Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an SMS and email notification with a tracking number. You can use this number to follow your shipment through our courier's website. If you have not received a tracking update within 3 business days of your order, please contact us.

In-Store Pickup

Select "In-Store Pickup" at checkout to collect your order for free from any of our four Cairo locations. Pickup orders are typically ready within 24 hours — we will notify you by SMS when ready.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, photograph the item and packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. For orders confirmed lost by the courier, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

Returns & Refunds

Eligibility

At COCAN, every piece is crafted with care. You may request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  • The item is unused, unaltered, and in its original condition
  • All original packaging, dust bags, and tags are intact
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is presented

Items that show signs of use, have been altered, or are returned without original packaging will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:

Exceptions: Custom or personalised orders · Sale items marked as final sale at time of purchase · Items from a gift bundle where the bundle has been partially used.
How to Request a Return

Email us at cocanbags@gmail.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos of the item if relevant.

Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.

Ship the item back using a tracked courier — return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange within 5–7 business days.
Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.


For cash-on-delivery orders, refunds will be issued as store credit or via bank transfer — whichever you prefer.
Exchanges

We are happy to exchange your item for a different color or style of equal value, subject to availability. If the replacement item is of higher value, the difference must be paid at the time of exchange. If it is of lower value, the difference will be returned as store credit.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or different from what you ordered, we will cover all return shipping costs and offer your choice of a full refund, replacement, or store credit. Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
